Book Review ~ Nothing Compares to the Duke - The Duke's Den by Christy Carlyle

Nothing Compares to the Duke

The Duke’s Den

By

Christy Carlyle

Absolutely dynamite read! I give Nothing Compares to the Duke by Christy Carlyle  5 Full Steeping Teacups! This is truly one of my favorite romances of the year!

Rhys, the Duke of Claremont and Lady Arabella (Bella) have known each other from childhood, they were each other’s best friend and it's on Bella's 18th birthday that she truly awakens to the feelings brewing inside for Rhys and she wants to express these but is not given the chance. She finds Rhys with another lady in the garden and it breaks her heart seeing him flirt and kiss another. She kicks him out of her party and also kicks him out of her heart.

Five years later Rhys comes back to his home as the now Duke of Claremont and he must figure out why all of his funds are gone, yes he has partied many of them away but not the whole of his accounts. While trying to figure out the ledgers, Rhys struggles as he's always struggled with reading. He then goes next door to ask his old friend Bella for her help. She turns him down but later she offers to help him on one condition that he enter into a pretend engagement with her.

This story just takes on so many twists and turns and Carlyle does an amazing job at weaving all the different storylines together into one amazing tale!

If you love a deep, yet slow love, then this is the book for you!
