Road recounts a trip of personal growth and inspiration. It examines
one's fears and transforms them into the strength that leads to success, in
terms of increased self-awareness.
This inspirational novel guides
the reader through one woman's journey down the yellow brick road. It describes
how she comes to understand and triumph over the traumas, fears, and challenges
she faces throughout her life as she meets the characters in a book written in
the late 1800s.
Millions of parents have read The Wizard of Oz to their children for
over a hundred years. There have been many interpretations of the meaning of
the characters and the story. However, thus far, it has not been used as a key
element of a book exploring growth into adulthood.
One woman's road waxes and wanes
throughout three generations that span a lifetime. She was introduced to The Wizard of Oz at the age of 12. The
lessons she learned from it, combined with those gleaned from other works, like
the Old and New Testament and Quotes from
Clergy, profoundly influenced her growth into womanhood. Finding herself
and attaining inner peace was an arduous journey. Her story, along with that of
the Tin Man, the Lion, the Scarecrow, and the Sister Witches, provides the
reader with tools and techniques to enable them to find her their home.
