“Consider the odds. If you multiply the number of
stars in our galaxy by the number of galaxies in the Universe, you get
approximately a gazillion stars. That’s a 1 followed by twenty-four zeros. And
there could be even more than that! The chances that we are the only living
organism in the universe... To me, thinking we’re unique is pretentious. It’s a
matter of days. I’m sure anyone who discredits this is in for a rude awakening
soon. Even though we’ve just started the fourth decade of the 21st century, there
are still many people who are oblivious to these truths.”
“These are probably the same ones
that still believe in the supernatural.” said Stryker, laughing ironically.
“I figured of all people you would
believe in most of these things? In the paranormal, in the spirit world, I
mean.” asked Ripley.
“Oh, please” answered Stryker. “With
all the technology available today, millions of digital cameras and video
cameras, billions of photos and millions of hours of recorded footage, yet not
one real image of a being or anything remotely paranormal has ever been
confirmed. Nothing, zilch.” he looked down, shaking his head slightly in
disbelief. “But some people want to hold onto the belief in the paranormal as
though it’s any different to say goblins, angels or wizards...none exist, but
people still believe this tripe. We have simple people wandering around
abandoned facilities at night with EMF and digital recorders trying to convince
themselves that a tapping sound is a lost soul back from the dead, or the
scratchy inaudible sound recorded is a voice from beyond the grave” he laughed.
“If you believe in ghosts and spirits you truly have a child’s view of the
world.” Ripley seemed thrown off by Stryker’s skeptic speech and immediately
stood up, talking back at him:
“How can you say that, Stryker? After
what you witnessed Amanda go through?” she asked, looking at him incredulously.
“Oh, Stryker.” sighed Amanda. She
then looked at him squeezing her eyes, as if she could see through him. “You’re
attempting to approach a nonsensical subject with strict rationality. The world
isn’t so black and white. Your clinical view of everything is your downfall.
For as much as science has advanced, we’re still in the dark about most of
life’s mysteries and not one human soul on this planet can tell you what
actually happens after you die.” she said. Amanda then stood up and started
prancing around the room, talking to all:
“Once you accept that you’re an
insignificant, inconsequential blip on the radar of time--one of billions of
people to have come and gone in a few million years--and humble yourself with
the idea that all you truthfully know about the universe is what other, greater
men have told you from their own observations, then maybe you won’t act so
pompous as to declare you know all there is to know about a subject that has
managed to stay in the forefront of society since time immemorial.” she paused
for a moment and went on. “It isn’t just country kooks and attention-seeking
nutters that believe they’ve seen a ghost or had a paranormal experience. There
are many learned men who would stand up to your scrutiny as upright characters,
such as presidents, who have claimed to have seen spirits. Trying to lock down
such a persistent, widespread phenomenon into this ”This is this, therefore that is that“ rationality is just silly. We
exist in a world where we have no idea why we're even here, and things in your
daily life operate on a scale of normality that you’ve grown accustomed to,
never mind the fact that several centuries ago many things you do would be
considered ”magic“ or ”abnormal.“ The torchbearers who brought us electricity,
telephones, and computers have managed to push the darkness of ignorance back
only so much, but you’re making the mistake of thinking you can see the entire
cave beyond the small circle of light.”
said Amanda.

I picked up the mug of black tea and tried not to stare at the buttons that were threatening to pop on Lexi’s blouse and let her t*** spill out.
I took a large swallow of the scalding-hot water.
“You two are harshing his snarly, self-important, condescending vibes. It’s the gestapo up in here. A man can’t even cuss out his own assistant in peace. Shoo!” Lexi waved away the two older women. “Can’t you see you’re smothering him? Some people,” she said to me, cupping a hand to the side of her mouth.
“Can we please fire her?” Anthym shrieked.
“But then who will sort our dear leader’s underwear?” Lexi asked magnanimously.
“You’re not supposed to be touching his underwear.” The HR director was appalled.
“I was folding them Marie Kondo style, to bring joy to Mr. Richmond’s life,” Lexi said primly.

Spirit Guides Divine Through A Sign Is written from my personal experiences when I was child. My upbringing was worldly and colorful with taking risks and enjoying life’s seasonal Memories. The memories are what we hold on to. I thank both to both my mom and my dad that provided me with an adventurous life by believing in me and showing me the ropes. Divine travels to location destinations that have been a big part of my life and with my family. It’s as if they are still with me. Ladybugs mean living life to the fullest, this represents my father. When he passed I always saw ladybugs. I believe he is a spirit that is always with me, showing me signs of protection, guidance and it’s pretty powerful when he wants to be. My mom who is the 111 sign and Divine, the baby elephant. She loved baby elephants and the meaning of everything that’s beautiful with elephants. I educate the symbolisms of each character throughout Divine‘s journey in a rhyme in my next book, “Believe To Receive, Calling All Angels” I also educate their life purpose.
In this story, Divine meets her best friend name Chappy in the magic forest. Growing up in a small town in New Jersey we have this forest. It’s meaningful to me and I believe there is familiar energy and smells of the forest trees there which is quite magical. I include this in my book as a memory in my childhood. Chappy is always on the move and he loves to travel. He’s also very wise chatty and also snappy when he wants to be. Chappy happily joins Divine’s journey. Later they both meet a friendly soulmate friend named, Wing. The three of them traveling notice the many signs and messages from Ladybug Spirit. They love traveling to Divine’s lovely destinations and go with the flow with following the 111 signs.
Divine is compelled not only following the signs for living out her purpose. she has an intuition feeling that someday she might need a louder voice to be heard about something so important for everyone must learn and hear. Intuitively she listens to her inner spirit and believes in herself and the guided path Without knowing what will be but believing without questioning the journey. Divine ends up in Hollywood with a greater purpose in my next book series, “Believe To Receive, Calling All Angels” and The Secret Place, Child Of The Earth”.

Forty days was
just too much. The people could not take it anymore. They were all stuck out in
the wilderness eating manna for bread and quails for meat (Exo. 16:11-15).
Although they had seen the destruction that God brought on the Egyptians, the
curse of Adam became dominant and caused them to rebel against the word of God.
They had also heard the voice of God speaking from the mountaintop that burned
with fire and begged Moses to speak to God on their behalf because the voice of
God was too much for them to bear. Even with all these experiences, they still
rebelled against the commandments that God had spoken to them.
The family of
the Israelites were slaves, recently rescued from under
the powerful hand of the king of Egypt. All the people who were present knew
only oppression. Moses was put in charge of a collective group of individuals
that had been abused their entire lives. Hope was nothing for them to be fond
of, and believing in someone or something would only last for a while. So, when
Moses went up into the mountain, it took him too long to return. The people
became restless and decided that they would take over. They were all ignorant
of the consequences of their actions.
Moses was God’s
man. Moses was the one who God had come to and convinced that he was able to
lead his people out from the land of Egypt. For Moses, God’s presence was
welcoming. Moses and God had built a relationship that afforded Moses to trust
that God was a living God. Moses understood the consequences of rebelling
against God. He also understood the benefits of believing in and obeying God.
