“I wouldn’t do
that if I were you.” His voice is smooth and calm. A voice that seems to fit
with the ocean: strong. Masculine. Deep.
I turn to my
left and blink against the sun that now covers everything in an orange shade.
Putting up a hand to shield my eyes from the rays, I squint as I try to make
out the tall silhouette talking to me.
The man who
interrupted my calm is standing close to the water.
Realizing I’m
alone on the beach with a complete stranger, I wrap my robe tighter around me.
“Excuse me?” I
say.
He takes a step
to the side, and now I see him clearer.
My breath
hitches, my heart starts to beat stronger.
Wow. Talk about
sexy.
He looks
handsome. Really handsome. Maybe even the most handsome man I’ve ever met. Dark
haired. Muscular build, with broad shoulders and narrow hips. And tall,
certainly taller than the men I’ve seen in the city.
